Velvet bent greens,

Since 1923

A club since 1923, on a links laid out in 2010

St Ives (Hunts) Golf Club has history dating back to 1923. In 2007 the club bought a 230-acre site off the Needingworth Road, at Giffords Farm, and Cameron Sinclair laid out the course that opened there in 2010: an inland links of 18 holes, par 72, with four tees on every hole.

The fairways are fully drained and irrigated, and sand-capped with 40 mm of sand. The greens are built to USGA specification. Paths run between every tee and fairway, and from each green to the next tee, so trolleys and buggies go out almost all year round.

An inland links, open to visitors every day

Revetted pot bunkers, lakes, and golden rough under a wide Fenland sky. Four tees on every hole, named by their length, let you play the course at 6,758 yards or at 5,626. You do not need to be a member.

Visitors are welcome every day. Book online with instant confirmation, for 18 holes or the Back 9.

Electric buggies and trolleys can be hired for 9 or 18 holes, or for the day. On the course, wear golf clothing and golf shoes: the dress code.

Green fees are not listed here, and buggies are best booked ahead. Ask the club: 01480 499920, option 1.
